Riserva di Martignanello
***

The farm covers an area of 18 hectares, from the edge of the volcano's crater to the lake's shore; it is cultivated with kiwi, mixed orchards, vegetables, cereals and a good production of honey. The long walks throughout the farm offer the possibility to watch the birds and the vast fauna which spontaneously populates the area.

Seven rooms are spread over two buildings in the oak forest on the hill dominating the lake . All are doubles with private bathrooms (some with hydro massage tubs). These bed and breakfast rooms each have a comfortable sofa, desk and a minibar, three also have cooking facilities. All have a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, with rustic furnishing and beds of wrought iron. The walls are lightly tinted in warm tones and the rooms are light and airy.

Along the front side of the lake, around 600 metres long, there is a well kept beach reserved for the clients, shaded by thick willows, where you can bath or comfortably get some sun.

The restaurant has been carefully restored from a rustic building on stone and chestnut; it is situated on a small hill and you may enjoy excellent views of the lake from the large pergola. Outside there is a pergola with a fine view of the lake, cane covered, where you can eat or sit also in spring and autumn. The kitchen, simple but well kept, offers a rediscovery of traditional tastes and local products.

The buildings are surrounded by well-kept gardens, where children can play and you can top up your tan or read in the shade of an old oak tree. Those who love to walk, have the possibility to engage interesting and relaxing excursions in the oak forest.
